Matchday – Sports Center UI Concept
Personal Exploration
[Introduction]
A conceptual UI exploration for a sports match tracking application. The primary goal of this project was to design a sleek, dark-mode interface that delivers real-time scores and match statistics clearly, without overwhelming the user with excessive data.

[Description]
My Approach
Prioritizing Visual Hierarchy in a Data-Heavy App Sports applications are inherently dense with numbers, dates, and team logos. My approach centered on establishing a strong visual hierarchy using a deep dark theme paired with vibrant, intentional accent colors. By isolating live matches in prominent cards and using clean, modern typography, the interface guides the user's eye directly to the most critical information—the scoreline and live status.
Detailed Pages and Features
Focused UI Elements Although this is a conceptual MVP focusing on the core experience, the two main screens demonstrate essential sports app functionalities:
Match Center Dashboard: Features an intuitive horizontal calendar navigation and clear categorization by leagues (e.g., Champions League, Premier League). The search bar is easily accessible for quick team lookups.
Live Match Cards: The "Top Events" section highlights ongoing games with detailed but easily digestible stats, such as ball possession and shots on target, ensuring fans get the full picture at a single glance.
